**Child Education and Rehabilitation Organization in Iraq**
Dedicated efforts are made to improve the conditions of various societal groups, including women, teenagers, youth, and children. Additionally, the organization emphasizes a capacity-building plan to develop the skills of local partners and strengthen their active roles within their communities. As sectarian violence increases and the complexity of daily life in mixed societies grows, the organization remains committed to helping children and youth understand diversity and learn peaceful coexistence. The center regularly welcomes girls and women from diverse backgrounds, including Kurds, Arabs, and Yazidis.
The Child Education and Empowerment Organization in Iraq offers a wide range of activities for children and women at its center in Erbil Governorate. These activities aim to enhance knowledge, social cohesion, creativity, and the psychological and social well-being of beneficiaries through educational, recreational, and sports programs. Since its establishment in 2003, the NGO has contributed to positive outcomes in collaboration with national and international partners, including the Iraqi Ministry of Youth, MPDL, UNICEF, the Iraqi Red Crescent (IRC), ICS, OXFAM, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the British Embassy, Save the Children, Italian INTERSOS, and Dutch BST, among others. The organization has developed strategies to extend and expand its impact and reach.
